Pajzib,Your claim is physically impossible. In the 1970's the estimate population of Laos was 3M among which 10% was Hmong or 300k. Today the population of Laos is estimated at 6M (2X) among which 7% (400k) comprises the Hmong population. Since around 100k Hmong left Laos since 1975, which means around 200k remained, the Hmong population of 400k represents a 2X growth, which is consistent with the national growth rate. Now where do the hundreds of thousand Hmong killed come from?

It seems many of the viewers are against LPDR for posting a film that favor the government view of the Hmong returnee from Thailand. There is nothing the Hmong peoples can do about this fact. Vang Pao can't overthrown the government by sending money, or weapons. The Hmong couldn't do it then when they had the CIA backing. Let close the last chapter in the Vietnam War and help the Hmong reintegrate back into the community.

The truth about the resettlement we'll see what happens to them. Many that have resettle and surrender to Laos goverment have vanished, and never heard of again. At the moment the Laos goverment seem to be being good the settlers or jus good at hiding the truth.

Terrorist groups is relative. ChaoFa leader was kill by Vang Pao, so I don't think you can relate the two groups together. I dont even think you can relate terrorist with Chao Fa or Neo Hom. Chao Fa are originate from Yang ShongLue as a person whom brought a divine alphabet, and latter after 1975, couldn't get out of the jungle and have to fight for their freedom. Chao Fa are freedom fighters, not to claim a country or so by just to live in peace. And Laos Gov. wants them dead, because of CIA

menacebird,It's all about common sense. The Neo Hom and the Chaofa are a Terrorist Organizations, headed by Vang Pao. These Terrorist Organization does not represent the entire Hmong population. They only represent a small minority of Hmong. Hmong people in general are good and Law abiding citizens of every country they reside in.
