God Bless Paul Delay, who passed on 3/8/07. It was an honor for all of us who had the opportunity to share the stage with him. NW Tribute to Ray Charles is one of the last recordings that Paul Made as a Duet with Olivia Warfiled, recorded at Kung Fu Bakery and benefiting the Oregon Food Bank. Olivia Warfield and Paul Delay sing Hallelujia I Love Her So Ray Charles Tribute at the Portland Art Museum for it's SOLD OUT20th anniversary in this video.

I figured so and I share your pain.I was depressed for quite a while when Barry White and Ray Charles died.These people feel so close, their music gives us so much... - all we can do is play our harps, carry on their spirits and carry the music further! ;-)

Wow, what a fucked up day!I just read that Carrey Bell died a few days ago and now this!Delay was a fat guy with drug problems, he had every chance to die young but it is still hard to believe that he is gone.

I got the call from a good friend of ours and I was deeply saddened to hear that Mr. deLay had passed away. I had the pleasure of hangin' with him a few years ago... Great guy!!! I hope now you have the peace you deserve my friend! |
