Most people in the united states only see 2 parties, but in reality there are like 10 maybe more, but no one knows about those other parties because they can't get on national Tv because the Big rich businessmen that own the TV stations are republicans and democrats and don't want people voting for someone who isn't corrupt.

Who controls the debates the mainstream media.Would Nader and Gonzales kick ass in debates against Obama and McCain i think so.Obama and McCain havev been contacted to share in debate they dont respond. Why because they are scared. The media and corporations protect them and censor any candidate who really care about the people it's that simple.

Actually, Nader prefers the heavy tunes, too...

It's all about the debates. Put third parties in the debates(the candidates who actually discuss issues and answer questions) and they will each instantly become serious contenders, even without media coverage. They make two much sense not to. Watching th first two "debates" this year, and all I've seen is dancing around questions, and no real solutions to any of the problems we face. And people will still vote for 1 of 2 tickets, only because they don't know about the alternatives.

Mr. Nader, Thank you, thank you, thank you for devoting yourself so selflessly to our country and Constitution. This is the first time I've ever been inspired to contribute to a Presidential campaign. We desperately need an honest person in the Oval Office.

Just a thought. What if the 3rd party candidates pooled their resources, bought air time, and held their own debate?

wow, ur a tool. an independent tool, but a tool nonetheless. I am a supporter of Bob Barr (libertarian candidate).by the way your first message was an 'appeal to authority' fallacy. my message was imperical logic. prove it wrong or your God, this guy, is wrong.democracy is mob rule (collective control of individual wealth) any advocate of that kind of injustice isnt much better than the RepubliCrats. Barr '08.. not Nader.. and NOT McBama

Nader is on 45 state ballots, and is not givena chance in the televised debates. No democracy there... yes the duopoly is afraid of debating Nader: ObamaMcCain_asaurus would look like a plastic toy next to Nader.NADER/Gonzalez = WE the PEOPLEDemocrats and Republicans = THEY the CORPORATION$
