My comments were against the Communist Soviet Union, not Russia as it is today. The Soviet Union was an atheist regime, and if you read your history, you'd know that Stalin closed down churches after coming into power. He only reopened them during World War II b/c Hitler was also closing down churches. Since Stalin hated Hitler more than he hated Christians, he reopened churches, partly to spite Hitler, partly to gain more support against Nazis from the rest of the world.

Umm the simple fact is 39 studies over 75 years tell me the more religious you are the more likely you are to be a thick twat. Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned, We must question the story logic of having an all-knowing, all-powerful God, who creates faulty humans, and then blames them for his own mistakes.I am treated as evil by those who feel persecuted because they are not allowed to force me to believe as they do.

What does the date of the founding of Gallup have to do with its results?And FYI, multiple studies done by scientists have revealed that Christians are less likely to suffer from depression, make fewer attempts at suicide, and less like to commit crimes in general.
