You're sure a a vet of Nam? I figured you'd be the first one to understand how the constant threat of death and violent images of combat can affect the minds and judgment of teenagers. Or are you one of those vets who hung back at an airfield safe and sound? I hate to question the integrity of a vet but I'm still in my twenties and have more issues than I can deal with and figured guys like you would understand. Guess not even you guys have our backs. You have no idea what killing people can do to your mind. Watching your closest friends die and being absolutly powerless to save them. Tell me how you would deal with that. When he gets home, he probably won't give a shit about what the media or anybody else thinks because nothing anyone says can come close to what he's lived. I've been there and it ain't easy....AT ALL. You don't know how 99% of Americans would face their demons. You don't even know how you would do over there.
