You tell me how I ignored it and did what I thought was right. How I liked women all through HS, but never said anything. Dated but NEVER kissed anyone because it disgusted me! --oh yeah society made me think kissing boys was nasty--till i was 18, and I hated it. He fell in love with me, Ask me to marry him I SAID YES! I loved him as nothing more than a friend but SOCIETY TOLD ME TO MARRY A MAN! that is what society did to me. cont.

with a strong black father and mother with STRONG MORAL VALUES! but since you know how i turned to this life. YOU TELL ME! YOU TELL ME about watching power ranger and liking the pink ranger better the the green when all my girl friends liked him. Society did that! You tell me how society made me follow this woman around at 12 thinking she was amazing & beautiful when I didn't even know what a lesbian was! & How I felt confused and lost with my infatuation. Didn't know what was wrong! cont.

1. We are not discussing my sexuality. We are discussing racial relations. I never said that religions or religious books support my life style. I KNOW THEY DONT! I can't stand anyone who makes a claim that they do. Growing up in a very religious house household I learned what the Bible said, so I challenge anyone who says that it says differently. 2. if you want to discuss my life, go ahead.Society didn't play with my mind. Nor did i have any issues. I grew up in a strong house hold, cont.

Society throughout the world has been sexualised and male and female, black and white have fallen into this trap. What is not realised is that all that is happening is distruction of the self and the social society that one lives in. It was mentioned earlier about Psychology being used to play with the minds of individuals in society. For instance, think about it eating disorders, low self esteem, anxiety, stress, identity problems, sexual abuse, phobias are all rooted the way you fell about u

I think that reply was for me Shuggaqube. RavensDarkness; If you have read the Qur'an you would not be broadcasting that you are happy in a same sex marriage. Sodom was not tinsle town it was reality and they were judged by GOD for the sins/wrongs they were committing. I have no problem with mankind loving each other as long as it male and female. Remember it was only during the 17th century that we learnt to show so much disregard for another human because of his skin colour. contd....

Where does it say in my comment that I don't read the new testament?? I read my Bible in it's entirety..Old and New...so from my comment you can't just assume I read one set of books from the Bible and not another!!

Amen to one of the most sensible comments on here!!!

Thanks shuggaqube. Ok so you dont read the new testament just the old testament. Frankly I read the whole Bible. I read the Quran because I friend of mine said i should , & I know the Quran says the read the Bible & that Jesus was a prophet. Any other religions I can't answer to, because only Islam... not then nation of Islam here in the US, but the larger one...& Christianity are religions I can attest to. I can't claim to know anything else and I wont try. I just stand by integration & unity.

I have to agree, you make a very valid point..I too have found happiness with someone who wasn't black..I think we should all get along and my christian faith has taught me that..not all whites are racist or supremicist..most of the time we black people are held down or back by mental slavery..the worse kind, and we like to blame everything on the "man" but sometimes it's we ourselves to blame..the same time and energy young black people waste doing nothing..they can get up and do something..
