One enemy target destroyed, Sir. But I think that I hear the Scorpio beginning to start in...

Sir, the Taurus is flanking us, attempting to draw us away from our badly needed power nap.

I heartily disagree with YOUR comment. Watch DS9, watch later VOY episodes, heck, even ENT. Also watch the movies, from ST:G onwards. I have no love for Star Wars and it is sheer blasphemy for you to compare the space battles between the two. Star Wars has overdone the CGI battlescenes, Star Trek hasn't. Can you just imagine "Sacrifice of Angels" with shooting techniques used in the '80s? I think not.

I heartily disagree with the previous comment, enhancing battle scenes with cgi leaves us with the star wars special edition, which just seems hokie 20 years after the fact. I wish they would make a new series instead of a movie, but thats just me.

He was a lot more brutal in "First Contact", it's awesome when he gets his fighting hat on!

I wish they re-release TOS, TNG, and the older DS9 and VOY episodes with enhanced CGI battle scenes. I was so bored with the space battle here!
