August 2008Thrust into the spotlight and aiming to become one of the world's most powerful people, it is hard to imagine that Barak Obama's roots lie in what can only be described as an extremely humble Kenyan village.Here we meet the family members and characters that have served to shape Barak's early life. Mama Sara, Barak's grandmother, tells us "Barack is a son of this village. He's a very kind man. He loves development. He likes peace and he loves me." We also learn of the hopes and aspirations of the villagers, along with the future developments in Kenya that the senator may bring.

yeh i didn't get the whole "muslim" thing, i thought the country was based on the "freedom" to practice whatever religion you want without persecution. this country is just full of hypocrytes!

What I don't understand the big deal about this whole muslim thing. Are all muslims bad people or something?? And even if he was a muslim why is that such a bad thing? Is there only one kind of a muslim?? I have an uncle that's muslim..He is a perfectly fine human being.. So what is the issue at hand?? I just want to know, because im not understanding the negative attitudes toward muslims..
