are your choices; hardcore? excessive plus, requiem, matrix q3, etc for extreme action (sometime pretty sick, specially in excessive xD, but americans like that), like real-world war imitation fps? jailbreak, urban terror, truecombat etc. Tricking and trickjumping (which can also be used in other modes for advantages)? feather-tricks, definitely DeFrag, etc. Finally there are just tons of mods and youd better start selecting those you like, ppl will always be there :P

an excessive amount of ppl still play it, and pro gaming has always been active in q3. In fact there are probably more people that play q3 then those who play q4 online, since q3 is just unique, and with its years it has an incredible variety of amazong mods and shit that finally converts the game into the game you want it to be. like fast paced physics fps with strategical gameplay all around and incredible variety of physics to master? cpma, vq3 (osp), team arena, rocket arena
