Here are my thought and opinions in regards to purchasing and using AppleCare with Apple branded laptops. Also you'll get to see the repair estimates for the two times I had to send in my MacBook to the Genius Bar at the Apple Store for repair (both repairs were covered by the standard 1 year limited warranty).

Porn on DVD - so late 90s ;). Bittorrent, FTW.

i wonder how many people have been watching a pornographic DVD on their macbook when its got stuck in the drive... i bet that'd be a laugh for the apple technicians.

The matte screen is not only an option on the MacBook Pro. Personally I prefer the matte screen over the glossy screen - my iBook G4 went for 3 years without any problems with the display. My MacBook's glossy display had to go to Apple twice because the glossy coating kept flaking off. If I ever get a MacBook Pro, I'm getting the matte version, but maybe I'm just bad with displays. Hope that helps. Peace. |
