No question, he´s extremely good technically. Ever been to his clinic? This is the first clinic I left early on, probably the most boring time of my life and I really wan´t that hour and a half of my life back. Same fills and totally overdoing it with the china´s. Just seeing the big tom to his left makes me get an anxiety attack. Yes he can play, but how a guy with such talent can get appreciation by doing the same fills during a whole clinic is a mystery. Guess some just lacks the groove.

he most certainly did. he was inspired by many sure (like gene krupa n buddy rich) but he has inspired countless others with his technicality

I meant it like: No drummer is better. Some of them (us) are more skilled or inventive, but not everyne can show himself. I dont mean me by that :D Anyway Neil is very skillful inventive drummer, I dare to say he came up with new way of rock drumming

You´re totally right! Anyway there is no better drummer. The Stars are working on themselves to show such show like this, and other drummers are working with bands. Or both like Portnoy :D Anyway its very difficult to say who is good drummer, because for example Lavigne´s drummer or any other chick´s drummer or so..DOESNT HAVE SPACE TO SHOW HIMSELF....so we just dont know...maybe :D

after watching this how can people seriously think guys like travis barker and tre cool are the best drummers..lol i guess avril lavignes drummer is right up there too..? they must not know who marco minnemann, dennis chambers, mike portnoy, virgil donati, thomas lang and a million other better drummers are.hah
