Both the Sooner and Hoosier programs deserve better than they received at the hands of Kelvin Sampson. It hurt to see the damage he inflicted upon OU Men's Basketball, and to see it happening to Indiana is just as painful.Best of luck to IU in finding a better coach.Shame on you, Coach Sampson. It's time for you to step up and be the man you should be. Do the right thing.

Kelvin Sampson was not serious about winning. You want proof? He gave a spot on his team to his son, who was a good high school player who had the ability to play small college basketball. But Division-1 basketball at a Big12 school? Sorry, but no, he was not that good. Whose position did his son take? Besides, all he did was sit on the bench. He even once said he is happy when his son plays, because that means they have a big lead.

As an Oklahoma basketball fan, I found it ironic that he said we loved football because of the championships. I will say this (and could be wrong) - Sampson can never win a championship. Unless he becomes a better recruiter and stays of the freaking phone!

Im an IU fan and I hate how Sampson makes IU look like shit. and how we are gonna be sick this year but looked at as a dirty program. thanks kelvin!!

I'm an OU fan who's heard all the Sampson "He did a great job with what he had" BS. He didn't have "A" talent at OU because he could not recruit. He's a liar, a cheat & OU is better off without that jerk. Left here without so much as an apology.

Sure Kelvin, use football as an excuse. You left because you were going to be fired for cheating. And all while you were ethics chair of the coaches association. Oklahoma lost three scholarships and you moved on to the number one job in the business because IU AD Rick Greenspan has no ethics.You say IU should embrace Coach Knight. Personally, I'd rather see him embrace you. Right around your fucking neck.
