temperature raises when you overclock right? how do you know how far to go to have a stable overclock?

get it, its WORTH THE MONEY.....and worth the invesment...keeps the cpu cool with some Arctic Silver 5....i could push it a bit more..but my 450w power supply cant handle all that with my ram Oc to and an 8800 card with two 74GB raptors....just to much...

dang a lot of ppl are saying that cooler really worx, i need it! i can only go 2.64ghz stable with this cpu with stock cooling, and 45c-50c idle ;((. getting cnps with e8500 tho :DDD

OCed my e6400 to 3.4 GHz, stable while running prime95 for 24 hours, on the stock Intel HSF. Then I clocked it down to 2.66 GHz.No real reason to OC it to 3.4 other than to show that I could, really.Specs:Core 2 Duo e6400G.Skill 2x2GB 4-4-4-12Gigabyte GA-P35-S3GBFG Tech 650W PSU
