i watched this film when i was like 10 and at end it just left me confused and depreased :(dont like it :(

Those effects are well done...on a shoe string using primitive techniques.Just the sight of blood oozing up is alot scarrier then an expensive CGI ripple effect that we know is a computer effect. I always liked this film but looking back at craftsmanship on the low budget , Im amazed

Scanners is a bit of a classic , you miss out on the suspense of the film because the bad guy has blown up a guys head in first part of the movie, so at 0:50 your waiting for the hero to splatter. The bad guy by the time of the showdown has been built up to point figure the hero shouldnt go anywhere near him !
