Hmm, I'm sure that I made much mention of instrumentation, pitch, and tempo here...

You seem rather focused on aesthetics.

You make a rather common mistake; assuming that word choice is inexorably tied to pretense. Did you ever take the time to consider that some people naturally communicate this way, or are you egotistical enough to believe that everyone who does not speak like yourself has ulterior motives for doing so?

I see... I was merely browsing Youtube for a decent sound recording of the band that a friend told me about and I see I have stumbled upon the grammar and pronunciation thread. Not to mock anyone here as a fan of anything that will make small children's ears bleed myself but why argue about music and origins of it, people should just focus on the fact that Scandinavian metal beats all anyways. But I accept that other people don't all see the same why I do. Back to Averse Sefira- They rock! :)

We may never know. It's sort of like the tootsie pop conundrum.

was this a sarcastic reply to the other's message, I wonder.

I agree, droning three-note riffing is a lot better than this. Thanks for reminding me of that.

this sucks Kult ov Azazel is really the only good US black metal band.

Either way it is still of little interest to me. This video was merely an act of jest. Metalheads would probably appreciate your sentiment, but I however only find the originators of death and black metal of beautiful quality and then quickly lose interest after about 1996. Metal is not a scene or way of life for me, it was an artform that held immense promise and then dropped the ball when it became another rock 'n' roll counterculture.

Ditto. Actually....*sigh* it started with Coal Chamber for me. Most people start out by listening to something pretty rat shit and it progresses from there. Some slipknot fans go on to love extreme metal...alot are just ignorant to its existence. |
