NeuTouch - MultiTouch Engine using Nokia N95! http://www.symbian-freak.com/n... weeks ago I wrote an article about cheap ''Do it yourself Multitouch Table'' that uses Nokia N95 as the main component. Actually it uses the N95's main camera to capture the shadows on top of the box and sends the images to the tracking software on the PC side which tracks the shadows as they move around. There is no doubt that N95 powered Multitouch Tab is the pretty interesting idea but today we've got something cooler! My friend Sittiphol went a step further and came up with a totally different idea based on the same concept.Instead of connecting phone to the PC where 3rd party applications decodes and process images captured with a N95's cam he developed an engine capable to process real time image straight on the Nokia N95. The idea is simply brilliant, everything is processed on Nokia N95 there is no need for another device or computer. Sittiphol Phanvilai developer from Bangkok in Thailand, is most known for his amazing MobiTubia YouTube client and flv video player application, which won him first place in the Nokia Open C Challenge last year and also made him the nokia forum cha.. . . . . http://www.symbian-freak.com/n...

Hey dickface, before you start judging, know your facts first. If you didnt know, Sittiphel Phanvilai (the guy whos currently working on this project), aside from Samir Oueldi, are one of the all-time greatest developers for symbian devices (mainly for the Nokia N95). They put out lots of apps for the N95 and are well respected, of course only by people who knows about them and their work. Dont be stupid and call everything you see "bull", be open-minded. Especially if you know nothing about it.

So when is it coiming out?BTW, is there a theoretical way using the back camera as a touchpad sensor a for a stylo? For example, I open my camera lens, set it to "close up mode", point it in at a white surface and use a black pen or something similar. If that's possible than a virtual keybord with such stypo would also be possible.IS IT THEORETICALLY POSSIBLE?

This is actually standalone application, more like the engine demo and it just shows that it actually works and can be added to basically any application. For example you can connect your phone to TV and browse through you gallery in 3D view controlled by the DIY Multitouch Pad.Click on Read more from the right side for more info ;) Teo
