10-8-07 Austin, TX - CAMPO board member Jeff Mills reveals that the toll plan for Central Texas does not deal with the most congested areas of the region. Mills explained that 80% of the most congested areas in the region are not addressed with the toll plan. The toll lobby had been selling the toll plan as a congestion relief solution, when in fact, it's a taxation plan."These projects do nothing for the main points of congestion," he said, noting that the Texas Department of Transportation had made it clear that it was only interested in toll roads. "There are sufficient funds for non-tolled roads."

If I am the only source of legal tender, and all money I create for the government is a LOAN with interest, where does the money to pay the interest come from? Only from more loans. This is how the Federal Reserve works and why the U.S. has a $9 trillion debt. See google videos "Money as Debt" and "Fiat Empire".

There is still an honest politician out there. Hooray for Jeff Mills! Too bad he isn't our state senator. |
