just approach a ramp at a medium speed for the ramp and skate slightly at an angle toward the coping, at the top on tyhe ramp kickturn onto the coping and put your weight over the board. when on the coping you will find it easy to get out of because the next kickturn in is a very natural feeling part of the trick. simply lift up your front truck gentl;y and pivot int5o the ramp while leaning in the same amount as a drop in.
