PBS is bringing Tom and Ray Magliozzi, of "Car Talk," to TV with the new series CLICK & CLACK'S AS THE WRENCH TURNS. The animated sitcom, based on the hit NPR radio show, premieres Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET (check local listings). This animated sitcom takes off from the hit NPR show "Car Talk" and follows the on- and off-air escapades of Click and Clack, the Tappet brothers (alter-egos of "Car Talk's" Tom and Ray Magliozzi), as they try to fix cars, fend off disgruntled customers and seek out increasingly creative ways to goof off. In this episode, airing July 16, 2008, 8:30 p.m. ET (check local listings): Click and Clack go green by creating the first pasta-fueled vehicle, but cause a war by imposing an unnaturally high demand for generic noodles. I hear much criticism over the show, and, really, I watch it at, like, 1 AM in the morning anyway on a 5 channel TV when the other channels are showing Infomercials.

These shows start out slow, but really pick up speed and humor by the end.Pasta War and Boston Blackout have been my favorites so far.
