This version makes the song sound so much sadder than it really ever was meant to be. It was always supposed to be an upbeat song about a kid who dreamed of being like his father. Then he becomes like his father. Not a sad story about how the kid wasn't talked to enough as a kid, and then when he grew up, made his father feel like crap......The original will never die, this one is good, but the original will never die.

i cried the first time i heard this song it just makes me so greatful that i have my dad here for me everyday i thank god for the cherishing moments that i have, but awesome sogn and awesome group
