do they not realise that no matter how big a trekie a person is they will know the difference between fiction and reality. i'm so glad brent deffended them.although i was offended slitley by brent refering to the people in the costume's because he sound's like he's saying there not normal, and i'm ancually an anime cosplayer myself and i'm perfectly normal as far as i know.

Y'know, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone who "hates" Star Trek. I'm sure people haven't seen it or are indifferent, but it doesn't strike me as a show that's hated by a wide group of people.Nothing against BBC Breakfast, but they ought to be briefed on their guests before interviewing. It's like the hosts never even HEARD of Star Trek before. >_>

...and that's why even though we speak the same language, many times U.S. humor does not translate into Great Britain humor. I don't think they are used to 'sarcasm' or 'self deprecation' type of humor. However, I thought Brent was hilarious!
