you aint lying, i love g1, but most of it was about optimus and megatron with there sides making soley cameo apperances, and doing stupid shit, or having sum chesse ball lines, i like the new ones betterill most DEFINETLY get flamed for this, but "Animated" is the one series that ranks the lowest of the low, lower than garbage on my list, even worst than Beast Machines

G1 broke new ground with cartoons. It was right at the forefront when the laws changed, allowing 22-minute toy commercials on TV. It gave us "the sound", gave personalities to the voiceless toys that also broke new ground, it showed them transforming back & forth, using their modes & battling each other.But the stories regularly made no sense; from one ep to another & even within a single ep. And the animation had a high FAIL rate.I loved G1. I still do. But it frequently seriously sucked.

yeah... i have the originals on the new DVD collections, and i even have some surviving VHS tapes. I also have a handful of the Star comics and the G2 comics. The comics went from pretty cool to pretty awesome, but the show always sucked. We loved it because it had cars AND robots, not because it was good television.

Dunno. Just a theory...or maybe the Sword itself is the Incendiary-source itself especially when they're in Dino mode and expel flames from their mouths.
