That's interesting, I know that Marty Feldman, another of my faves, wrote for John Cleese, David Frost & many otehrs before performing himself.Maybe you need a good writing apprenticeship to hone performing skills. Glad Sid's clock is still performing all these years later, even if it doesn't keep the time.
