sampling put me on to some of these past musicians, and made their music relevantI might not have cared about "Ecstasy" if Jay-Z never sampled it for "brooklyn's finest". nothing wrong with sampling if everyone gets paid (and a lil recognition)

Why be creative by coming up with your own music. It is much quicker and easier to nibble off of someone else's hard work and success. It works for todays "acts". I say "acts" because there are no "real" musicians anymore, well,...at least not any famous musicians getting play on our mainstream airwaves. Real sound. Real music that these men created. Their OWN SOUND. Nothing else like it.

...definitely...it's a lost art. These true musicians arranged, wrote and read music and were craftsmen at playing real instruments...unlike the sampling cRAP we get today. Thanks for the post.
