come on guys...clearly age is an issue. we forget that when a boy or girl of 12/13 years is seduced by a man, everyone thinks its wrong, but if a boy of 12 - yes he was 12 when he started having sexual relations with her..just before his bday - has sexual relations with a woman NOT with a man, its all good. society is hypocritical and backward indeed. It's not because he was younger than her. It was because she was his teacher from when he was eight and she had a child with him when he was only 14. She started having a sexual relationship with him when she was his teacher and he was only 14. That's why it's such a big thing. But I agree with the backwards thing 100 percent ;)

Sometimes I think our society is sooo backwards. This would never fly in France, women go out with young men all the time, its no crime! French women are known for marrying a man & then later have a young dude on the side! America is so backwards sometimes. Girls grossly go out w/ old men & then when actual true love comes around & it doesn't fit your description in the "age" category, u just can't handle it!! Well, too bad, luckily they finally got through the Puritan crap they didn't deserve!
