it seems like when the comes back in during dolphys solo hes stops for and second and puts his hand out like what the fuck. i wonder if he was pissed about something, maybe they came in at a different part of the form.

dolphy is freaking unbelievable, an amazingly unconventional and strikingly emotional musician.the only thing that confuses me about this group is how johnny coles fits in. he's not nearly as talented as anyone else in the group, his solo is incredibly dull and he doesn't belong on the same stage as the rest of these geniuses.
