Wow that is amazing - I have been to the exact same point recently -- after a minot typhoon and i thought I was a little brave as there was hardly any other people about due to rock slides. I thought I cold dodge rockas and be aware of them because the sound would be quite loud. You guys however could not possibly hear any rock falls. Also I am scared just looking at the cameraman at around 6mins, how do you know that platform isn't about to just collapse?I salute you!

great footage, that is going to cause massive under and side cutting of the roads and walls of the gorge, kind of gives you an idea of how the gorge formed, there are tons and tons of sediment being carried away which will lead to either a delta or sand bar depending where that river lets out.

This video is scary & thank you for posting. How did you know that the river wasn't going to swallow the road and your car? Was there a place for you to escape?

Haha....Noah's Ark wouldn't have stood much chance in those flood waters. The water was surging over the road up Taroko Gorge, something which I know does not happen that often!

Dude.... that's just typical flood in Taiwan with raging rivers!Taiwan needs better sewage systems, but pan-blue use their majority to keep blocking the funding for them to keep Chen's administration as Defunct as possible!!As for Biblical Flood, it suppose to cover most of land on earth, which is why the building of Noah's ark (if that story is proven true)!
