Well as far as I know, Dawn doesn't speak Welsh, so I'm assuming you're talking about Catherine Zeta-Jones

Yes her accent is supposed to sound Welsh, that's the whole point of the sketch. But she's playing a character, and it's not Dawn's own accent. Her own accent doesn't sound Welsh at all.The fact that she can pull off a Welsh accent so well, proves that she's a great actress. But she's not Welsh.Both sides of her family come from the West Country, mostly Cornwall.

well your proving that she is wrong, sure it makes her sound better but it makes her sound a fake. Besides she is an actress, actors and actresses are supposed to sound like a welsh. she is trained to do that.

She's not Welsh. She just happened to be born in Wales because her dad was stationed there with the RAF. |
