This demonstration of Scientology training routines includes a drill in which the Scientologists shout at an ashtray to stand up and sit down. It teaches them to forcefully command others (and to be commanded) and is used to intimidate people.

You forgot to mention changing sides at the end of both World Wars......and the fact that Catholic Priests don't marry because the MEN who ran the church knew that if they did the family would inherit the priests belongings instead of the local Church......it goes on and on...

The CoS has, on more than one occasion, admitted in courts of Law, that the Xenu story IS part of their belief system. As well there are several documents, both leaked by members as well as old ones purchased and sold, that detail the Xenu Story as part of CoS beliefs.Members who are below OT3 can deny it, (obviously), Members who are OT3 or above are ordered to deny it, but there is simply far too much evidence proving the story exsists and is still part of CoS beliefs. lying? out-ethics?

Not very specific, the Christian "Healer" claims that God's Grace gives him a power, or that it works thru him/her. No matter what He/She is the actual focus, and He/She is the one who counts up the "tithes" at the end of the day. Millions of Americans claim to Love Jesus, but they spend hours staring at Pat Robertson each week, and they send him all the money he asks for.

There's no difference. For one thing, it doesn't always say that God does the miracles; most of the time, it's the prophet in question who is given credit (see Elija). And even if it's God doing the heavy lifting, the Bible still promises miraculous results if a believer prays, and even goes so far as to say that if you make a prayer in Jesus' name, then it'll be granted no matter what you ask for.

ChristianityBuddhismIslamHinduismBaha'iNeo-PaganismScientologySomething all these religions have in common is that they all have had members who claimed, because of their religious practice, to have supernatural healing powers. Members of all these faiths should be able to smoke like a chimney, pray/meditate/do magic regularly, and never get the least bit sick from it.Of course, most of those religions have laws against doing anything detrimental to the body, so there ya go...
