i growned up in late 90's but i love 80' bands , they are simply the best , no wonder bret michales returned, dokken recorded new album , people have enough this crap wich some chumps call metal in these days

I agree with most of what you say with the exception of "constantly worried about trying to be perfect looking". I dated rocker girlies in the 80s and they were always fixing makeup, hair and so on. Yes they were hotter then but still high maintenance - lol80s rock girls were the best - no doubt
