As the person who filmed this event. I would like to say that although Andrew may appear to be a conspiracy theorist, he still was accosted by the police after Senator Kerry said he wanted to hear the question. If Accent Speakers Bureau had allowed all those standing in line to ask questions, this never would have happened. Unless of course the police would have stepped in anyway. I DO NOT KNOW ANDREW MEYER PERSONALLY. I DID NOT EDIT THIS FILM (the camera battery was low and stopped filming)

That's what they initially were doing, they initially were kicking him out, NOT arresting him. A lot of you people make the mistake thinking he was under arrest from the moment he was taken off the stage. When he fought the cops, pushed & elbowed the fat black cop, broke free from the cops TWICE, which is resisting an officer, & tried to incite the crowd to step in and fight the cops to help him avoid a simple removal, thus inciting a riot, THAT is when the initial removal changed to an arrest.

Yes Kick you out, not arrest you or tase you, what are you a cop who gets a hard on tasing people. He said, "if you let go I'll walk out of here" but no those hard on fag cops decided to violently attack him. I am in a rage just watching that, its bullshit. Also tasers can kill, they should only be used to subdue an armed person. I would never let someone take me anywhere if I had no reason to be arrested. He has rights.

does no body notice that as the kid is getting tased and screaming "don't tase me Bro" Kerry starts answering his question haha dumb mother fucker. not to metion its the schools fault theres is another video from a different angel and you can see some one tell the officers to stop him. then it was just a huge over reaction by everyone involved. Im a Criminal Justice major and the issue is t he student over reacted and became hostile and was trying to get away and that is a crime!

Nothing "happened" to free speech. Free speech is alive & well. 1) q&a was OVER, & he grabbed the mic without permission. 2) He asked SEVERAL questions, & was allowed ONE. 3) He far exceeded his allotted time to preface his question(s). 4) He said "blowjob" at the mic, which violated the Student Conduct Code. He was not tased for "speaking his mind". Free speech does not automatically mean you can say what you when you want. i.e., if you go to a church & shout "goddamn", they can kick you out.

watchyourst3p, the student got to say more than any other student got to say that day. In fact, he ripped the mic away and interrupted another student who was asking his own question. "Freedom of speech, my ass?" Looks like Andrew Meyer got more freedom of speech than anyone else. Did you know he didn't stop talking for more than two hours all the way to jail, during booking, and put in his cell? Finally, his cellmates, Bubba and Jason, put an end to it.XD
