Please comment and rate videos - this will help other people find them by ranking them higher...it takes a second :)--Requested by Jadesdaddy1999.How to produce Roy Lichenstein style Pop Art from your photographs.This is based on several Photoshop tutorials, but is 'translated' for the Gimp, which doesn't have the 'new adjustment layers' or 'filters-sketch-halftone' options that the Photoshop tutorials rely on.Handy shortcut keys:ctrl+m = Merge all visible layers[ = brush decrease size] = brush increase sizep = paintbrush toolshift+e = eraser toolo = eye-dropper/colour picker toolRemember to save your project as an .xcf file as you go along, in case you lose your work.

I still don't really get what you mean.You could try using colorize in the colour menu. Set the hue to 360 and the saturation to 100 (for example) and you get an interesting Red and Black image, which sounds like the sort of thing you might be after?Is it? :)Could you send me a link to a picture that shows the effect you are after? It might help.

with my old camera i could aim it at something...and i can pick a color from it make only 1 color like red and make the rest black and white but can it be done in gimp without using the pop art, beacuse pop art isnt as much realistic, sorry if im confusing you.

Just black and white...no grey? Do I understand you correctly?Follow the steps up until the matte colour part, and then just block out the areas you want to be black instead of colouring in.There might be a plug-in that does this, but I've not tried so I don't know.
