There really is no substitute for seeing Nevermore live. I've been lucky enough to have seen them 5 times now. Warrel Dane is one of the best metal singers, he's just DIFFERENT than some others out there. His power and charisma is undeniable.

you either hate warrel's vocals or you love 'em i love em. i used to dislike them but now ive gotten used to them and its the only band i can actually sing to lol. but he's definitely not one of the better metal SINGERS out there, russel allen from symphony x is the best IMO. theres a lot of other great singers to though

Russell Allen is a good singer, but there's a reason he's with symphony X and Warrel is with nevermore. Different styles for different bands that both rock.

Warrel Dane is the character of Nevermore, along With Jeff Loomis... He is irreplaceable, if there were another singer there would be no nevermore...

I actually think they should have a more melodic singer. Someone like Russell Allen who can still manage to have a strong voice while being melodic. Just my opinion, of course.
