"The Dillon M134D Gatling Gun is the finest small caliber, defense suppression weapon available. It is a six barreled, electrically driven machine gun chambered in 7.62mm NATO and fires at a fixed rate of 3,000 shots per minute. Gatling Guns typically feed from a 3,000 or 4,400 round magazine. They are capable of long periods of continuous fire without threat or damage to the weapon making them an excellent choice for defensive suppression."

There is a huge difference between video games in real life, things can be modified in the virtual world to inexistent physics but real life infantry do not carry these. Don't base your opinions on Airsoft at all. This gun weighs 60 lbs without the ammunition or the battery so total it would weigh about 100-150 lbs. The recoil would be too much of a factor in accuracy and there's no way to properly aim it if it were an infantry weapon. They do sometimes mount these on special vehicles though.

beteasta3, infantry will never carry gatlingguns ok its way to heavy it was designed to mount to vehicles (helicopters mostly)

comparing the two is kinda stupid! the 134 was designed for saturation frie from a fixed position or a vehicular mount! it also requires a power source, as it uses an electric motor! the 240 is an infantry weapon used primarily as a squad and platoon support weapon!!!! of course it does not have that rate of fire, it is purely a gas operated weapon whereas the 134 is operated by an electric motor! its real life not halo 3 lol
