I love Howard Jones to death but Depeche Mode is still king. Spandau Ballet had "True" and "Gold" as their big hits but thats it. They were both awesome songs though. There were lots of great songs in the 80's. Whose to say one was better than the other? People will always have differing opinions on this subject. Two of my favorite songs from the 80's is "I just died in your arms" by Cutting Crew and "Something about you" by Level 42. Awesome songs! Take care, DC1969

I wonder if howard, shared the jacket with Adam Ant, I think I was way too poor to have a outfit like this back in the 80s but maybe I want to forget these days LOL LOL :)

The Greatest of all the 80s tracks ever done, it blows Spandau and all the others out of the water. The only others on a par with this are anything by The Associates and Nik Kershaw. Thanks for posting this all time Classic....

Amen, brother! I've had this song in my mind for years, but couldnt remember who sang it. I love the tune. I remember watching it on Top of the pops when I was 8. In my opinion since the early 80s the number of decent tunes in the charts has been gradually decreasing to the point where about 10 years ago I just gave up on pop music. Im sure there r decent singers/groups out there, but sadly few and far between. Keep up the good comments!
