Taken during Where 2.0 on May 30. Immersive Media is the company which has the technology used in Google Maps new Street View. This demonstration shows that the camera used actually captures 30 frames a second in every direction at the same time. Very cool!

this is really good for military too..., i just want it so when i'm going to a new place, i don't have to call ahead and ask, "okay yeah, i turn there, but what will i see before i get to where i need to turn?" I can go and look for myself...and 2 years from now, you'll be able to see it in video form like this video.
