Yes I have to agree with Cherry...Macs are not immune to viruses. Just not enough people are using Macs for it to be a problem. If Macintosh became the dominating computer and operating system there would be guys creating viruses for it. Windows has been through many of the worst viruses and now has experience with it. Macs will get hit hard when the new generation of hackers start taking advantage of there systems and only then will they know how vunarable they are.

Mac's don't get viruses because there aren't enough user's to create viruses, and a virus cannot be self created it has to have a creator. There are four known viruses that the Mac computers can catch at this very moment. Just a year ago there was only one, but since Mac's have been getting more user the virus threat rate has gone up, and will continue to go up. Mac's do have a money issue because they don't create third party customs. Thank you for replying to my opinion.

Macs dont get Viruses there safer and easier to use .....i made my decision OF course this is only my opinion :D Tbh the reason i have a windows comp is the money issue :| macs are way over priced

Microsoft is not as bad as you are thought to believe, and fyi I've used a Mac and a Microsoft OS computer, they are the exact same as far as a hold your hand interface. The only difference is Mac's are for Graphics development, and Microsoft computers are for networking and management. There's a little to think about..
