There is a notch in the bolt handle, and a flat, spring loaded locking piece locks into the slot on the handle, holding it in place. Rather clever.

But I don't have to, nor will I agree with there "all guns are evil mindset". If you are different from them, blame them for making you life hard, not everyone else. I and allot of my fellow shooters don't want that mindset to come to our state. We are law abiding people and want to own what ever we want. Oh and I don't know were the communism stuff came from, but I know Obama will try to give us a little taste of that. McCain is not my choice, but he's the lesser of the two evils.
