i think you can give evidence for the bible from the bible, because the bible is actually collection of books and letters.eg. if something is written in one of the gospel accounts, and then we have record of peter, another eye witness sending a letter to someone speaking of the same event, then that is evidence in favor of the event.Another interesting way is to look at messianic prophecy in the old testament and compare that with the new testament and extra biblical sources.
