It's ok that you like the other version better, we all have our own taste and opinion. But Eoghan sang it properly? In what way? He also omitted one of the verse. And it's ok because of TIME LIMIT on the show. That's also the reason why David can sing ONLY one verse, not the whole song. He DID sing the whole song before when he's young and later again on FORD day.

Please stop all the non sense about he sang this verse because of his religion. He sang this song because, as he said, it's his FAVORITE and HAS a great message. He DID sing the WHOLE song including the 'no religion' part before and again on FORD day. LOOK FOR IT if you want proof, I can't post link here.

Lmao. Oh dear.. in what way did Eoghan Quigg sing this better?! Don't get me wrong.. Eoghans my favourite on the X Factor atm. But Archuleta's voice in this is so pure and he sings it with emotion. Eoghans version was pretty bland compared to this.

Yeah its just a song (beautifully sang too by David). But the message of the song is probably the most profound, moral and inspiring message in the history of music. It deserves better than to be cherry-picked by pious christians. |
