I like Krav Maga... It's practices and teaches the same ideals as Ninpo Bujutsu. Basically This is the definition of what a martial art should be. War-like doing whatever it takes to end the fight as quickly as possible. Many people would say Brazilian or Gracie Jiu-jitsu is the most effective martial arts. they would be DEAD wrong. Ninpo and Krav Maga are the only two martial arts that the Gracie's didn't challenge and i see why!

people not understanding that krav maga was made to fight the natzi's. This is an urban combat martial arts. Brazilian jujitsu and other forms of martial arts hold on to patients to set up moves like wrestlig; remember, kicking the groin is a good thing in krav maga. In MMA it might not be good but in a city I would much rather be train in Krav Maga, it's just the right thing to do.

ok maybe I don't understand enough about it. I agree about the mental attitude stuff, that is why I studied boxing in order to learn how to take a hit and having the will to give one (not as easy as people thing).

I like MACP better. I see too much "stand still while I hit you."

Krav maga is a system, based on instinctly movement. Some one attack you, you lift up your hand to defend yourself, and from that position you go further. With other most styles, there is too much stuff going on, that you have to train thousands of times, and then completely forget in a stress situation. In krav maga they keep it simple, and prepare you for battle, increasing the stress, so you are prepared for it. allmost evrybody can knock some one out but its all about the mental issue

Also I don't train in BJJ just my impression when watching him (Gracie) train people in the movie "choke". In this series I really liked the Fillpino stick fighting system, (escrima I think it is called). Those guys in the Krav Maga are totally tough there is absolutely no doubt, it just looked like it fell short in terms of skill that is all.

I agree in war this would be an effective system, I was talking about fighting one against one in an MMA style competition. I just felt that they were not employing much skill. If you watch someone like Rickson Gracie training people in Brazilian ju jitsu it is totally different. Lots of sensitivity and masses of skill. I doubt any of those guys could fight someone like that in a dojo. But yeah for the battlefield it would be more practical I agree.

I won't insult you but I think things would play out differently in the field simple because there you know your life is at Danger.

Not impressed at all. Just loads of agression and little skill (yeah agression is important). I was impressed with most of the martial arts on this program but not this one. No gloves on he would of snapped the guys ankle. He also was taking them to the floor with ease. How good was she who knows ? If she got hit by a male boxer she would be dead. Perhaps good sytem to train raw recrutis very qucikly to be aggressive but not a great system. Insult aways if you want just my opinion.
