I have heard this song so many times and it is amazing how much this song makes you reflect your life and how far you have come. It makes you see all your mistakes and all your triumphs and leaves you feeling at least in my case good. I bought this song because it makes me think every time. Joni's voice is so haunting that it cuts right to your soul.

Joni's voice reflects the true sad state of America: overburdened with heavy issues of life, drunk, lost, debtladen, morally decay, like a drunken homeless tramp wandering on a filthy alleyway looking for a cigarette butt to get a draw...sad, so sad...

think it's on love actually soundtrack cdfailing that, you need to find out whodid the instrumentation. i know it was redone in 2000 ......
