its funny out of all the bands that i listened to when i was younger, tool are about the only one i still love. other bands like, korn, slipknot, limp bizkit are just a plain embaressment to me now.

dannys a creative and intelligent drummer, a true artist of drums. portnoy is all about speed and hitting everything as fast as possible and that style just doesnt appeal to me so on that basis then danny is the better drummer

He's good for a rock drummer, but someone made the HUGE mistake of comparing him to Buddy Rich talent wise and it's not close, albeit and yet again, this guy is a massively good rock drummer no question.
