Yeah, they're both Macross. Robotech is the re-writing and dubbing of three completely different anime into one, sorta story. But in all three cases, the Robotech story is inferior to the original.

u know what i hate. i though i finish watching all the robotech series. from the Macross saga to the new generation. just now i found out that there is more to it. kinda piss off cause its a very long series but looks like there more to it.fuck.yeah i watch it all because on 2010 there will be a live action of robotech in usa.
