Science believed the earth to be flat? In fact that hypothesis was a religious one, you know, three big elephants over a bigger turtle used to load the earth. The bible says (and still does) the earth is the center of the universe, that's a religious point of view. Nowadays thanks to the Science we know the earth is spheric, Christopher Columbus confirmed such a hypothesis, and also we know the earth is not the center of the universe, and Galileo corroborated it.

Science once believed the earth to be flat, and the universe to revolve around the earth and not the sun. When people are so quick to believe what science says, do you realize that in 100+ years future generations are going to look back at ours and laugh just as we do to past generations. So quick to believe in things because Stephen Hawkins tells you to, is more blind than that, that has not altered in over 6,000 years. But hey to each his/her own.

It annoys me how people think it acceptable to blaspheme with Christ's name, yet they'd never say 'Oh my allah'....and surely it takes a stronger person to believe in something with little scientific evidence?
