It's like in that story- if you never tried 2 drive Mercedes, you'll be happy with Ford))Fujitsu uses completely different technology for the screen- you don't have 2 press, it's some sort of static sensitivity which works very intuitive and intelligent. If you really need to turn a lot of handwriting into the printed text- go for this laptop (it's convert. laptop, not a tablet, actually)- you want be disappointed for a sec. With extended +2 y. War-ty, bump-case and bay battery it was ~3000$..

I used 2 have this little rule- 4 the most of electronic "gadgets"- never buy items made in China. "You never know", as they say. Both cameras (35 mm & digital), home theater etc etc, all made in Japan. I don't care much if my snickers are made in China or Taiwan, but higher technology items- another story. But I didn't go 4 Fujitsu at once, because it's a bit pricy. But when I tried it in the spec. store- I ordered one right away (it came from Japan in a week or so..).

6 mo ago I was looking 4 the tablet with touch screen as high-end feature. I didn't need this fancy function before, but circumstances called so... I made some research on the web and came 2 the a couple of to actually "feel" the thing. I checked HP too and several other brands. Verdict? They ALL sucked big time. Say HP screens use pressure technology. If you right there only your girlfriend name 2-3 times- it's O'K. More than that- torture. It's like a little gym for your hand, which is bad..>>

Any manufacturer can put together components put together by other manufacturers. I'm talking about durability here and ROI. HP suck in that regard. You pay for the brand, not the product.

u described an old model in ur other comment..and hp has better laptops i do not know about the tablets as much but the envy is a GOOD laptop(gaming)

no, I am comparing a new HP to a new fujitsu. The laptops are both bought in may. But I personally like the P8010 laptop better than those, it is very light and has a 6 hour battery life

with laptops like the "envy" there is no way there laptops are a joke.... ur just a poor ass..

dude ur comparing the old hp to the new FUJITSU it is kinda unfair the new hp tablets are better...

I would agree with sender above. HP is garbage. Anyone that knows technology knows that HP laptops are on the weaker end of the spectrum. You're basically purchasing a Compaq at HP premium price. HP does have some good stuff on the enterprise end, but laptops are a joke.
