Same as N93, Nokia N95 featuers 3D HW accelerated graphics and OpenGL ES (1.1) support. GPU is based on the PowerVR MBX 2D/3D graphics accelerator from Imagination Technology incorporated into Texas Instrument's OMAP2420.

N95 8GB you may play quake2 [same version as for PC] ... with openGL ... [btw , don't compare a pda+phone which weights over 1 kg :)) , with the n95's 120 grams ]If I really wanted to play games, i would have bought a notebook for god's sake - & would ov' pissed on u're htcBottom lline : the best all-in-one package that can enter your pocket without being a nuisance is the N95 ...

My five year old HTC Blue Angel has same video accelearator chip.Also has 128MB of System RAM + 64MB ramdisk + 32MB of Framebuffer.Not built-in but with Spectec sdv841 video adapter, , I can get HD Compatible video output from my device. (1280x720 or 1024x768, not 440x352!)And 30fps 800x600@YUY2 video playback, Full Speed PSX Games and all that can S60 do are plus... Without ROM dependencies...The Nokia device at issue Good, but far more away from being "the best" at all...

Question: can u configure the media buttons on the top of the phone to use for gaming? and also is it hard to use the navigation keys because arent they hard to press down so u might hit some other buttons?

yes it can act as a trigger when playing games. Keys can be mapped to the camera button to be used in various applications including games. |
