yes he was never interested in playing at events but he certainly had enough talent to compete with the best.. as they were all his friends and he edited all their montages.

playing consistently, smart, and aggressively was what resulted in a solid player. i played competitively and was lucky enough to make it to 3 events in 07. all i played FFA's and MLG 4v4 game types alllll day long. nothing but customs and i got really good way to late. i wish we could go back to halo 2 as halo 3.. well halo 3 sucks. PHURION RULES. haters go to an event or go play with all the other BAD KIDS with horrible br's and sketchy snipes haaa. i wish i could shut all of you up noobz.

wow you kids are ridiculous. no skill involved? first of all phurion IS one of the most legit halo player around and none of you could command the respect he has in the halo community from pros to fans like me.. you say halo 2 takes no skill?? i LOVED the glitches.. you had to master them to compete at the top levels.. strafing wall glitching bxrs bxb quick reloads yy quick return to scope bxscope gandhi hopping solid 4 shot and then after all that you still have to understand strat.

Halo 2 is easier in a sense that when you aim it's harder. Double shots and shit don't mean anything, anybody can do them. It is harder to hit in halo 3 even with a br because they fucked it up. It's looser in halo 2 making it more easier to snipe. Why do you think people have amazing no scopes in halo 2, but you don't see that many of them in halo 3?
