Castlevania: Curse of Darkness on Normal difficulty.Trevor Belmont second fight - Same as before, but he never threw the holy water at me. He used his cross boomerang instead. Easy to dodge. After he finishes his Grand Cross attack, you can steal from him. I stood at the perimeter of the attack and jammed on the steal button to grab it. I used my Rasetz ID because apparently it has dark attacks. They did some heavy damage to Trevor, since he's weak to it. Watch out when he glows with that aura; he gets unstunnable, so take your hits sparingly.Legion - This guy can hurt you bad. Those zombies on the staircase explode next to you if you let them, and that can do up to 200 damage to you. Be careful with your IDs too. I had my mage set to guard on the way up the stairs so that it wouldn't get killed. Destroy the body wall around Legion to reveal the core. I tried to steal at one point, but I didn't have it targeted and wasted more time running up. Sorry about that! Oh well, it's just a Pizza, nothing real important.Nuculais - he's weak against dark attacks, so I called out my Rasetz again. You have to dodge Nuculais's stretchy grab hand; you see what happens to me because I was busy attacking. His punches are slow, so they're easy to roll around. The blade charge you can sidestep. His purple beam attack, I set my battle ID to guard and just waited inside the circle until the attack was over, otherwise you have to run or sidestep around him till he's finished. When his life is half down, he gets on his knees and starts digging. When he eats that body, you see how he grows! Beat on him while he's digging. Get all the free hits you can. When he's big, every step makes a shockwave, which you can jump over and then air combo him. Rasetz is great at this part. Every time Rasetz falls, those dark souls that swirl around him launch out and get hits for you, dealing more dark damage.Playlist for Castlevania: http://www.youtube.com/view_pl...

Get used to dodging his attacks? In my Crazy! version of that fight I didn't let him hit me at all. Just get used to his moves and hit him when you can get away with it.

You should check out my Crazy! version of both Trevor battles. I remember in the second one that I didn't let him hit me at all because one hit would do 200 HP damage. Just play extremely defensive.

I can't remember. I think it's the Damascus Sword, but I'm probably wrong. Sorry. It's whatever you'd have by just making new weapons at that point. |
