Practice makes perfect. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me until I took a road trip alone with a lot of good metal and hardcore and sang along. Then it kind of clicked. It all really comes from the back of the throat. You have to really get into it and not hold back or be dismayed if it doesn't come out right. People think it's just "screaming" but it's more complicated. Scream all you want, you'd pass out on stage. This kind of singing must be controlled accurately to sound good.

cheffboyardee: You say if a band gets absolutely no credit for doing something... wait, stop right there. Earth Crisis gets plenty of damn credit where it's due. They were certainly not the best band in the world. They improved as they went along. I can't think of how many times EC has been brought up in the news, interviewed, used as an example, covered, etc. Not the best, but far from the worst. You, my friend, are a genuine idiot. Dude... get a clue. Being vegan has nothing to do with being skinny. After I went vegan, I GAINED 35 pounds... know why? For the same reasons anyone gains weight. Veganism isn't for fucking body image, it's for something a hell of a lot more important than that.
